This train set is complete with the exception of the instructions and the liquid to make the puffing smokestack. I believe that it came with some sort of lubricating oil, but that is not included either. It works great, but I cannot get the bell to ding. I dont know if thats an easy fix or not, or maybe I just dont know how to work it. The air whistle works well and it plays 12 different Christmas songs. The 9 V battery needed for the songs to play is not included. Items come from a smoke and pet free home. That being stated, I get a lot of my items second hand, I cant guarantee that they were never around pets or smoking, but I try to look for evidence of that. Also, I do have a wood burning heater in my home (I live in Minnesota, after all) which, although fairly clean, might leave a little odor. In such cases I will need to be informed within 24 hours of receipt. Ive just had too many problems with that to make it worth the hassle. I try very hard to keep the charges as inexpensive as possible and the actual charges usually end up being more than was charged.
