The Engine is tested running on the track. I did not test the smoke or whistle option. According to the manual, there is not a bell option on this engine, therefore not tested. The other cars have not been tested. The music boxcar plays 12 Christmas songs but requires a 12v battery not included. I did notice on the animated gondola, the reindeer is missing. The original box is not included. I encourage you to ask questions before purchasing.
