Awesome example of the LGB (Lehman Gross Bahn) G Scale Blue Christmas Train – the BIG Train Set. The train is the less common ” blue ” version and features highly detailed parts and decorations. The locomotive, about 9″ long and almost 7″ high, features a happy waving Santa and is stickered number 2774 hooked it up and it runs great, very smooth! There are two passenger cars, each about 10″ long and 6″ high, both labeled the Christmas train one has a vintage toy motif the other has a wintry chalet. Both are festooned with incredible icicles on the ends. The transformer is labeled 50081 and has connecting wires and clips. There are 12 track curved sections , and 19 small plastic clips. Also included is a great fold out at Roundhouse instruction sheet (small tear at on fold) and and L. Believe this originally came with small Christmas figures/ornaments but those were sadly missed placed long ago. But of course this train will only come alive around your Christmas Tree!
