This listing is for a wireless remote control POLAR EXPRESS TRAIN SET made by Lionel. A big, heavy set, it is made in Lionel’s traditional 0-gauge with a 12 inch long die cast locomotive. Not to be confused with G-Gauge battery set and smaller HO set (they all look alike). The set is a new twist on their traditional trains featuring a handheld wireless remote control, a wall plug instead of a big transformer, multiple realistic train sounds, and Tom Hank’s voice as conductor. The cars are lighted and the locomotive emits steam from its stack. In addition to the locomotive, the set includes a coal car, 3 passenger cars, 4 figures, and the silver bell featured in the movie. This has the modern track which has a built in embankment and improved connectivity. This is more of an adult set, or perhaps, for an older child with adult supervision. The figures are still sealed. Comes in the original colorful, double stacked box with the owner’s manual and paperwork. This train can operate on a traditional Lionel transformer layout.
