MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION: Efficient electrical operation depends on clean, dry drive wheels free of oil and grease. Clean rust and dirt spots with fine sandpaper, then wipe the track with a clean soft cloth dampened with track cleaner from the # 6-62927 Lionel track maintenance kit (not included), available at your local Lionel Authorized Dealer. After several hours of operation the axles will require a drop of Lionel oil or other light machine oil. Do not lubricate excessively. If the car is operated for long continuous periods, it’s a good idea to allow it to cool off for short intervals of time. This is a NICE item & you’ll be pleased!!
