This Lionel “The Polar Express” train set is in excellent condition. There is 2 figures missing, the only one in box is the boy and engineer. No batteries in box. The battery compartment is spotless. Perfect train set for under you Christmas tree or to set up and enjoy.

2004 Lionel O Gauge Polar Express Train Set 6-31960 Diecast Locomotive. Set includes a black locomotive, 3-passenger cars, track, transformer and a coal car. The power type is AC, and the control system is analog. Don’t know if the smoke works. Don’t have any’smoke liquid’ to go in stack. So, I’m gonna say it doesn’t work. If you can get it to work- great. Looked in box and the’Santa bell’ was no where to be found. Train whistle works awesome. On the transformer there’s 3 buttons. 1-whistle, 2-smoke 3- Santas bell. Locomotive works from very fast to slow, works with the lever on transformer. Extra lights, 4 figures, manual. Please look at all my photos as they are part of my description. Train set is in like new condition (almost looks new). You will receive all train pieces that are show in my photos. As you can see, I set it up to show everything that’s there and it works flawlessly. This makes only the 2nd time set up. Box is worn in some places because of storage.
