This is a pre-Schmid Emgee train. All cars are inscribed the same Emgee Corp.. Vintage very early 80s, it is undated, I suspect 1982 or 83. This train has damage and missing pieces. Anything that is there but unglued, I will leave that way for you to repair as you see fit. Ckean, smoke free, and all detached pieces are unbroken and simply need reattaching. Each small car is 2-3 inches long. The paint on this train is wonderful…. One star is chipped on the car full of stars, otherwise I see no paint loss. The most notable damage is to the Engine…. Santa is missing altogether, as are two large wheels and a running board. Some of the other cars are missing wheels….. There are 23 small wheels intact, and 7 missing 4 from the same car. You could move some around for a shorter train, or create replica wheels. There is some variation to the wheel design, but comparing to other Emgee trains this appears to be common. Contents are missing from the animal car…. Only the dog is there and there were originally two other animals. There is a small gift loose from the gift car but it is included in the lot. There may be one thing missing from. This item is not returnable due to the number of parts that could potentially be misplaced in the process of a return.
