Today we are offering a VERY RARE Lionel electric train set designed and manufactured in cooperation with Hallmark Master Artist Ken Crow. The set was offered in 2015 and 2016 only. I acquired this set from a “Hallmark” collector who was not really interested in model trains. IT IS FACTORY SEALED. I see no evidence of it ever having been opened or removed from the original packaging from Lionel. The train features a red and gold motif adorned with classic artwork from Hallmark’s “Toymaker Santa” series and white snowflakes. The train includes authentic train sounds, working smoke/steam effects, illumination and real announcements featuring Santa’s voice. It operates via a hand-held, battery powered Lionel LionChief Remote Control system. The train is made up of a classic steam locomotive and tender, one boxcar, a gondola with Christmas gifts and caboose. It also includes all track needed, a power supply and the remote. In short this train is far more than just another train to set up under the Christmas tree. It is a rare offering from Lionel and Hallmark that appeals to Lionel, Hallmark and Christmas collectors alike, AND it is factory sealed. I do not believe that you will find a finer example of this rare train set. Feel free to contact me with any specific questions you may have.
